I really wanted to post the slide show of Trina’s cell phone pics on my blog this week,  but due to the explicit content I’m not allowed so you’ll have to search the web and find it yourself  :/.  Instead I’ve decided give props to Grace Jones who I’ve always LOVED .  I  may be showing my age but fierce is fierceand Grace is definatly that.  Plus we’re both from Syracuse!  LET’S GO ORANGE!!!

 I recently saw a pose  Amber Rose ( Kanye’s girlfriend) re did of an old Grace pic from back in the day.   By far I think Graces picture is better artistically, physically, color contrast, I could go on and on!  What do you think?  Weigh in

ZETA GIRLS DO IT!

It’s all  the buzz of the web right now!  Zeta Tau Alpha a white soroity won the Sprite Step Off Challenge in Atl this past weekend.  Of coarse this is not the norm for an  all white step team out of Arkansas to even enter a step show let alone win!  The prize was 100,000 and although I haven’t seen the other competitors, it looks like they deserve it!  This follows the spoken word segment by a white guy  on the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics.  It’s nice to see urban culture become mainstream if the roots and aknowlegdement stay true to the craft….

Zeta Tau Alpha WIN!

So Viva is defiantly living her cougar life to the fullest.  For those who don’t know a cougar is an older woman who dates younger me.  I personally am attracted to older people, but to each his own.  Well, the first we knew about with Vivica was 50.  I wasn’t happy about this union,  I hope no one got hurt  but I’m glad it’s over!  So here is Vivica’s latest PYT his name is Slim and is a known promoter in the Atlanta area.  She knows how to pick em.  Wonder if he’s the one?

So we made it through  birthday bash 20-10! 

Thanks for coming out to party with us despite the snow!  I had a great time with you guys as usual, dancing the night away.  If you’ve ever been to a Birthday Bash you know it can get kinda wild!  We’ve found thongs,  condom wrappers, shoes all kinds of things once everyone clears out.  I think people think we over exaggerate how WILD it can be, but this year we have proof and the world knows now!  These pics were posted on Mediatakeout and there from Birthday Bash!  If you check out the uploaded listener pics you’ll see this party goer with her friends!  She helped our party make the nationals!!! It was well over  a year in the making, & now   Tiny Cottle has finally opened her nail bar at a strip mall in  Stockbridge, G.A..  Check out the pics from the grand opening !

Tiny’s Nail Bar will feature manicures, pedicures, massages, body wraps, spray tanning, and complimentary health drinks and juices. The shop is described as a full-service nail salon combined with a full-service bar. 

A bar in a nail salon sounds good, there’s never a bad place to have a drink !   But check out the video below, it looks like someone was drunk when they did these nails!  No diss just different strokes for different folks and those styles arn’t my cup of tea!   BTW the background video music is the OMG Girls,  the group Tiny has out, with  her daughter, Toya & Lil Waynes daughter and a couple of other girls.  OMG is all that comes to my mind when I hear the song!

Happy New Yea r!   It’s a new decade!  Can you believe it were 10 years into 2000, time is flying and although we aren’t flying like the Jetsons things are more different then I would ever  imagine.  First shocker is a black president, something I never thought I’d live to see. We have phones the size of what use to be a small address book that can play music take pictures and store tons of info!  We have GPS that tell us exactly where to go and how long it will take! We have the Wii, which I am hooked on that interacts with you like a person, and people are booking trips to the moon!  So it’s a bit like the Jetsons on some things and way off on others.  Either way I can’t imagine where we’ll be in 2020 but I look forward to it (i think).  Hope you have a great New Year and I wish you the best in whatever you pursue!

         After seeing the previews of the Tiny & Toya show  I swore I’d NEVER watch .   Then a marathon came on when I had nothing else to do, and since  then I’ve been drawn to it like a bad car wreck.  You know , you want to turn away but you can’t.  I tune in to see how silly it will be, what situations they will magnify and I can’t wait for the new season.  I’m sure I won’t be on shut down, don’t call me, I’m watching  TV mode like I was for Americas Next Top Model or Atlanta housewives.  But I will be waiting for a marathon to consume one of my lazy Saturdays.  I type all this to say when I stumbled across this spoof of the show I just HAD to share it with you!
