A lot being made out about this bump from King James against his head coach Eric Spoelstra? Was it a bump or just him going to the bench; you decide.

First off, you can stop e-mailing me asking me if John Cena is fired. NO PEPS! It is a storyline, and Cena is still doing house shows. So that means he has a job people!

CM Punk will be on the Raw announce team till you gets better. Right now CM Punk is injured, and Vince McMahon loves a 3 team announce team.

The Miz is the new Champion, but don’t expect the Miz to be champion past February. He will not headline wrestlemania the champion. Expect Cena or Barrett to headline wrestlemaina, and who ever doesn’t have the belt will fight the Undertaker at wrestlemania.

There you have it ladies and gentleman! Enjoy the king of the ring Monday night, and check out my blog every Sunday to get all the news. Peace!

Beef seems to be the main course of Hip Hop. What happened to unity, empowerment, and using your voice for change?

We depend on certain artist to deliver certain messages, but Lil Kim is delivering beef to Nicki front door service.  While at a night club in Nicki’s hood in Queens Lil Kim thought it was only best to let the crowd know that Nicki is dead weight to Hip Hop by her standards.

“I got more love from Queens than this b—-    do!” “I will erase this bitch’s social security number! First of all, I don’t even need a record right now, I’ll kill that bitch with my old s—!” Lil Kim Rambled.

What you think about that?

No Love straight Hate. Hip Hop already knows Kim is the original “Black Barbie”, no doubt. Kim should be tickled that someone wants echo her style.  Diana Ross pays respect to Beyonce for  keeping up the legacy, Usher and Chris Brown dance together, now Kim needs to take Nicki as an understudy and kill all that noise.

A Collaboration would be nice. . .  If not Kim’s just gonna have to bring back that FIRE!!!

This weekend, Paul Williams got in the ring against Sergio Martinez. This was supposed to be a fairly easy when for the former Champion Paul Williams, but it only took a round and a half for Martinez to prove he was the better fighter that night.

Old school Raw last Monday night was pretty good. Now they are talking about a old school Nitro. I don’t know man, I would want to see all the great WCW wrestlers then, but most of them are on TNA, but we shall see.

Speaking of old school WCW wrestlers, Sting will eventually re-sign with TNA. He will most likely be brought back in January with other talent currently off TV.

Mr. Anderson will be out of action the rest of 2010, because of the concussion he sustained from Jeff Hardy. That shot was vicious man, did you see that? Oh man, I knew that wasn’t fake.

After weeks of consideration CM Punk opted not to have surgery, as he was told by doctors that he could rehab his glute injury instead. He is expected to be out of action until at least January.

WWE released some smackdown wrestlers last week. Here are the main names:

Shad Gaspard (Formerly of Crime Tyme)

Luke Gallows (Formerly of CM Punk’s crew)

Jilian Hall

Tiffany

Alex Riley was arrested this past week on charges of DUI. He was released on $500 bail. He was arrested after refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

There you have it! More news every Sunday right here on my blog. Enjoy Survivor Series tonight, and the rest of your wrestling programming. Peace!

Kobe Bryant is in an ad for the Call of Duty: Black Ops game and is catching some pretty heavy flak for the appearance. If you haven’t seen the commercial, take a look:

Now, the ME of 10 years ago would have LOVED this commercial! Some of my favorites persons make guest appearances in the :30 second spot. Kobe Bryant highlights because he’s a superstar athlete, world renown, and noticeable by ages ranging from 4-100+. I know this to be fact because as I was initially watching said commercial, there was a 4 year old named Izayah standing right beside me who was the one who pointed Kobe out to me in the commercial. Initially, I missed Kobe, but with the power of DVR, i was able to rewind it and get a better look.

Yep, that was Kobe Bryant; holding an assault rifle, with a scope, shooting to kill. I just remember my 4 year old looking up at me and saying “Daddy, I wanna shoot like Kobe.” He had said those words many times, but this was the first time his reference was away from a basketball court, and an orange ball and rim were the farthest from his mind.

10 years ago I would have thought it was cool that Kobe played the same shooting game as some of my closest friends, but when that face is noticeable to a four year old, who is at an extremely impressionable point in his life, I don’t want him thinking there is ANYTHING cool with shooting semi automatic weapons. In my opinion, Kobe Bryant on a commercial of that magnitude is the equivalent to the irresponsibility of T.I.

Yeah, I’ve become THAT guy.

A Parent. One who is constantly trying to gauge the amount of ignorance and negativity that is seen by his son. One who is constantly thinking of his son in the years to come and knowing the things he experiences now will effect him for years to come.

Yeah, I’ve become that guy.

The guy who actually understands there are consequences for actions. The guy who gets called Mr. and Sir by high school and college kids alike. The guy who thinks that being of a superstar level and having millions of CHILDREN wearing your jersey, one should think about doing commercials shooting heavy artillery . Bad form Kobe, bad form.

Yeah. I’ve become THAT Guy.

Update on The Undertaker’s current injury status. Taker underwent surgery for a torn rotator cuff last week. He will be out 4 to 6 months. This injury might hold him back for wrestlemania, but I doubt it.

WWE reveals it’s list of the Top 50 Superstars of All-Time. I am not going to give you 50 but here are some notables:
1. Shawn Michaels

2. The Undertaker

3. Steve Austin

4. Bret Hart

5. The Rock

12. Triple H

16. John Cena

17. Ric Flair

23. Hulk Hogan

Okay to me this is ridiculous, how is Ric Flair 17? And how is Hulk Hogan 23? He didn’t even crack the top 5? For real? Ric and Hogan made wrestling what it is today. Shawn Michaels number 1? Really? I’m cool with where Bret Hart is at, but Steve Austin 3?  I love Steve, but he should be lower. I will just tell you my top 5:

1. Hulk Hogan

2. The Rock

3. Ric Flair

4. Bret Hart

5. The Undertaker

I know most of you are like, why do you have the Rock over Ric Flair? Well, nobody, besides Hulk Hogan, had a major crowd reaction then the Rock at his prime. Nobody! His mic work was a work of art, and Ric Flair comes close to the Rock with the mic, but nobody was better then the Rock. He is the only wrestler I know that is making his living in the movies now, and there is no chance he will come back to wrestling because of that. If you are a wrestler then you stay in the business forever, The Rock doesn’t have to do that. He was the man!

There you have it ladies and gentleman, more news every Sunday right here on my blog. Enjoy the wrestling program this week, Peace!

Your first teachers should always be your parents.

MSNBC and The New York Times recently conducted a research study on black males and the academic achievement gap between them and their white counterparts, and the numbers are crucial.

“Only 12 percent of black fourth-grade boys are proficient in reading, compared with 38 percent of white boys, and only 12 percent of black eighth-grade boys are proficient in math, compared with 44 percent of white boys.” Reported Trip Gabriel.

What is going on?

Parents, YOU HAVE TO CARE MORE THAN THE TEACHERS…

If these numbers and this video doesn’t make you want to do something about our young black men and their futures I don’t know what will. . .

Black boys score far behind white students

You end the way you begin.

The people of Cleveland got together and made a spoof of LeBron James’ “Rise” commercial. What are your thoughts? Do you understand where the people of Cleveland are coming from OR do they need to just leave it alone??

I am a supporter of protecting the athlete. At the end of the day ALL athlete’s want to make it home to their families. Regardless your profession, how dangerous, or lack thereof, the goal is to make it home to your family at the end of the shift. All persons responsible in setting the tone for the profession or making the rules to keep the “employees” safe should be commended, but sometimes the makers of these rules and laws don’t take all aspects into account; this is an example of such a situation.

Due to the large amount of concussions this season, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell hath implemented new rules and fines in order to “protect the offensive players” (please see Dunta Robinson case: http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth/post/_/…) from helmet to helmet contact.

Hits like this one on Austin Collie, which will surely be a fine, should be taken into account. What happens when the offensive players moves mid tackle as the defensive player is already engaging in a tackle? And an even better question: HOW WAS THIS HIT UNNECESSARY roughness??

Thoughts, Comments, Concerns….
