Check the link below about THE BLACK WOMAN then read on!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8WPL8KnJZY

Recently someone sent me this link, it may be very offensive and racist to some but has very good points!  It’s way to long to play on air but I wanted to share this with you becasue although painful to hear because I too have fallen into some of  these categories, it’s REAL TALK  of how the black woman may be viewed and how some truly act!  My experience : 2 children from 2 different men (7 years apart give me a little credit) Neither guy  is a true positive roll model for my son , I hope my Dad rubs off on him. Although I picked these guys, I feel like a victim sometimes.  When honestly self esteem, thinking,  a better choice of men and waiting to be married may have changed a lot in my life!  So yeah although working hard to be the best Me 1st,  Mom 2nd sometimes I feel low about my choices.  Then I see Neffie (Keisha Coles sister)  is pregnant again!Neffie-dancing

remember the last show she’d had a baby from someone she met while with her last  husband, she contemplated abortion and now preganant again from a different guy WOW!
  Neffie Expecting Again

I think about the anger she’s dealing with and the positive things she’s trying to do and I’m happy to say TODAY I know better.  Having a child plannesd or not can and will slow down progress in growth & carreer.  I wish she would’ve waited until she grows a bit more, I also wonder how she truley enteracts with her kids outside the camera?  I’m not dogging Neffie or anyone else facing similar situations but it makes you think when you hear it put in a way such as the clip did!  Then I feel bad for Neffie because with this
Mom of the Year

Mom of the Year

as your Mom your thought process may be off just a bit.  Nobody ever taught her or gave her an example of a good woman.

Frankie Partay!

Frankie Partay!

She’s doing the best she can with what she knows.  Which is the problem with most of the woman that are reffered to in the clip.  They don’t know…

While on vacation last week I was shocked and sadden to hear that Nate Quick a former well known radio dj in Charlotte had died due to liver cancer. Nate Quick was working in Dallas TX at the time of his death doing what he loved best “Radio”. I was lucky and blessed to have known Nate. He was an extremly hard worker and always found time to reach out and give back. Nate was once living out of his car and always made it his point to visit homeless shelters and do what he can. Many of my friends in the industry are at a loss of words on Nates death. He was not that much older than me and yet he is gone. I saw an interview with his ex boss Skip Cheatham and he said Nate told him of his illnes bout six weeks ago but never let up on his work load and kept doin what he loved to the very end. If there is anything we can learn from this and I am directing this to any african american male reading this is that we must stop taking life for granted. For some reason black males do not like going to see the doctors this type of behavior has to stop because it is a matter of life and death. One thing I will remember bout Nate that everytime I will see him out doin his thing he did it with a smile. My prayers go out to his family and his radio family in both Charlotte and Dallas. Nate was one of  the good guys in the game and he will be missed.

Esteban Ocho CincoToday, on the show, we had special guest: Chad OchoCinco; WR for the NFL Cincinatti Bengals. He spoke on the reason for his decline last season, his album “Rosetta Stone” which comes out on September 15th, his views on Skip Bayless and other media, why you should pick him on your fantasy league and who HIS picks are for Fantasy Football, his “catch-phrases”: including “Child Please” and the meanings.
There were some exclusive things I wanted to ask, but we were pressed for time:
Rumor has it, Ocho Cinco will be playing QB this Thursday vs. St. Louis and will play defense next Thursday vs. the Colts. You can also catch him on HBO on Wednesday nights at 10pm “Hard Knocks”.
I also wanted to ask these questions, but didn’t have time:
1. Him being a kicker and his love for Soccer
2. How far he really expects the Bengals to go
3. His thoughts on the T.O. Show
4. What’s life after football look like for Ocho Cinco
5. Is Ocho Cinco dating
6. His Madden information (screen name, team he plays with and what system)
7. How old he was when he lost his virginity and if he still talks to her
8. Kids with dreams of making the NFL, advice to them

Maybe we’ll get another interview, and we can make it happen Family. Thanks SO much for ya’lls help!

Ziggler has Mysterio across his shoulders on the top rope. Mysterio spins and hits a hurricanrana off the top and rolls Ziggler up for the pinfall. Mysterio gets the three count and retains his Intercontinental championship.

Unified Tag-Team Titles:
-Chris Jericho & Big Show (c) vs. Cryme Tyme

The Unified Tag-Team champions come out to new entrance music. No more mixing of their individual themes, they’ve got a team theme now. Chris Jericho gets on the microphone and says all the celebrities here don’t impress him. He says he and Big Show are champions and they’re the most famous people in the building tonight. He puts over Big Show as a monster and says he has something important to say. Big Show takes the mic and as he begins to speak, Cryme Tyme’s music interupts him. Jericho starts the match, crowd chanting “Y2J” heavily despite the “please boo me” promo. Jericho tags out pretty quickly. Big Show dominating the action here early. Jericho tries a sneak attack but JTG catches him and body presses him out to the floor. Jericho willing to come back in now that Big Show has dominated them down. Jericho with a double-team move behind the ref’s back and he tags Big Show right back in. That seems to be the pattern, as Jericho comes in again, does a little offense and tags back out before things get rough. Jericho slammed down and he finally makes the tag to JTG. JTG is in now and Jericho is in trouble. JTG yanks Big Show down throat first over the top rope. He pins Jericho and almost got the three, but Big Show broke up the count. JTG rolls up Jericho but again only gets two. Very close there. Jericho catches JTG in the Walls Of Jericho out of nowhere. JTG almost taps but stops himself and starts crawling to the ropes to break the hold. He makes it and the ref breaks the hold. Big Show on the outside hits JTG while the ref isn’t looking. Jericho quickly pins JTG and gets the victory.

Winners and STILL Tag champions: Chris Jericho & Big Show

He slams the chair into the ring post. Hardy fighting back now and he’s got a chair. He repeatedly bashes Punk with the chair. Hardy clearing off the spanish announce table. Hardy sets up maybe the biggest ladder I’ve ever seen on the floor. He’s got Punk across the Spanish announce table. Hardy takes his shirt off and climbs up the enormous ladder. Wow, he’s way up there. He gets to the very tip-top and does a Swanton off the ladder through Punk and the table. We immediately get a thousand replays of that. Wait until you see this clip. After The Match: The Undertaker Returns!

CM Punk is standing over Jeff Hardy posing with the title. The gong hits. The lights go out. The gong hits again, the lights come back on. When the lights come on, it’s The Undertaker laying there and Jeff Hardy is gone. That was some Criss Angel shit. Undertaker gets up, chokeslams CM Punk and his music hits again as the lights go dark.

New music hitting the airwaves and it’s none other than Chad OchoCinco, WR for the Cincinatti Bengals. He’s teamed up with Wayne and created a song called “Child Please”. The question is, is it really Chad OchoCinco? He’s singing on tthe hook AND has a verse in the end,

Chad has been VERY vocal via twitter (@OGOchoCinco) promising fans to be back to his Pro Bowl Status this season and NOT the guy we saw plague the fields and the field houses last season. He’s already kicked an extra point and a kick off! Should be a fun season!

What do you think about the track?

Male or Female?

Male or Female?

There is a S. African runner, Caster Semenya, who just won the 800 meters at the World Championships has submitted to a gender test requested by the World Track & Field Federation. The test IS underway, although, results are not expected back for a couple weeks. The requirements: a physical medical examination, and include reports from a gynecologist, endrocrinologist, psychologist, an internal medicine specialist and an expert on gender. Wow.

What does one have to do to get the people to request AND FOLLOW THROUGH with a “Gender Test”? Just pull “its” pants down, if it hangs, it a Mane – period. Guess it’s not that simple.

Do they think that the parents of this “person” transformed “it” so “it” would be more dominant in female sports? Can you imagine how embarrassing it is for the WORLD to think you are SO much like a man they perform a GENDER TEST?! My GOD! She just needs to go get pregnant! That’ll show em!

If it DOES come out “it” was born a boy and the parents hath changed the sex parts in attempts to make their child dominant; God Be With Us All.

<---- Caster Semenya, you be the judge.

Vick as an Eagle

This is the blog that was supposed to be written by the hands of Mike Vick himself; Mike Vick says he didn’t write it. It is also speculated that Russell Simmons wrote the blog from a 1st person persepctive following a conversation that he and Vick had “off the record”. Either way, here it is; you be the judge.

**GLOBAL GRIND EXCLUSIVE** I’m sorry. That’s the place where I need to begin. My feeling of remorse. I ain’t never written a blog before, so putting my thoughts down on paper is a challenge – however it’s a challenge I must face. I can look a 250 pound linebacker in his eyes at the line of scrimmage and have no fear. But expressing myself when I know that there are millions of people who are so angry with me, and rightfully so, is a challenge unlike any other I have faced before.

What I did was horrendous. Awful. Inhumane. And I’ve no excuses for my actions. It makes my heart hurt now to think about what I’ve done. And I’m gonna be real honest, it took a while for me to get to this place.

Sitting in a prison cell didn’t make me feel remorse. It was meeting so many animal lovers, speaking with them and looking them in their eyes. Staring at them. Looking so deep into their eyes that I began to feel their pain. Allowing that pain to enter into my body is when I started to understand how bad it really was. I have been trying hard to connect with people who feel this pain, because for my whole life I was disconnected from the suffering of animals. And you might say, “come on Mike, how could you do those things to those dogs?” And you’re right…I
ask myself those questions every day. What kind of person does this? How does a human-being treat dogs or any animal with such pain and cruelty? And the hard part for me is the answer to these questions. Because the answer is ME. And I am trying so hard right now to become a better person, because who I was, I am ashamed of.

Cause see, my whole life has been numb. I was numb to the violence in my community…cause I saw it all the time, ever since I was a child. I mean, how does one grow up in a city that’s nickname is Bad Newz? You can probably guess that from the jump, ya’ know I’ve seen some bad things in my life. And football was the only way that I could escape. As a kid, I even used to go out fishing, and most of the times I wouldn’t catch a darn thing, but just needed to get away from the chaos every once in a while. So, when the commissioner called my name as the #1 draft pick in the NFL – the first time a black quarterback had ever been chosen as the #1 pick, I thought my life was all good. But, what I didn’t realize then, that I have begun to realize now, is that even though I had more money in my pocket, big cars and big houses, I was still numb. And when I say numb, I ain’t talkin about not realizing the stuff that was going on around me, it was just like I was living life asleep. However, that is still no excuse for what I did. But let’s not forget that there are still hundreds of thousands of young people growing in similar environments and seeing violence at a young age has severe consequences.

Now that I’m trying my best to wake up, I know I have a lot of work to do. And this isn’t about trying to win a Super Bowl ring or a MVP trophy…this is about trying to save lives. I think back to when I use to play football and of course I use to see all those kids in the stands wearing #7 jerseys. And I would never want them to look up to the Michael Vick who did all of those terrible things to the dogs. I know where I need to do the most work is with all of the people around the world who continue to fight dogs. Let me be straight forward with y’all: What I did was wrong, and what you’re doing is wrong. We must stop dog fighting, and I will do everything in my power to be a voice of someone who has finally woken up from the numbness, and knows just how bad it really is. My mission now is to be a source of service to save many animals. I am working very closely with The Humane Society and will be launching a new campaign shortly. If I had one hope in life, it would be that my actions will speak louder than my words. I know it will be hard to forgive me until you see my sincerity through my actions, but I promise you and I promise myself that that day will come.

Lastly, I accept this challenge, not of writing this blog, but of redeeming myself.

-Michael Vick

Okay! Summer slam is this Sunday Night people! WWE as some good matches. First (and thank you lord) Shawn Michael’s is BACK! Undertaker will come back as well too, but probably during the pay per view. WWE is looking for the right storyline for him, and expect him to be Champion before the Royal Rumble. Also, do not expect John Cena to win the championship title, because WWE wants to give Randy Orton a good run at the title. If Cena wins I would be totally shocked, but WWE is known to that sometimes. Jeff Hardy’s last match is this Sunday as well. Jeff did not want to renew his contract because he wants to explore other things. You really can’t be mad at Jeff for that, but smackdown is going to take a huge loss without Jeff. Good thing Undertaker is coming back. I will update you on everything that went down at summer slam  next Monday! God bless!

1 more week and my little buggers are back in school!  I CANT WAIT! I swear the school system must have done a study on summer vacation.  I think they measured how long it would take parents to snap dealing with there kids outside of school and made summer break end a few days shy of that!   So next Tuesday calm will return to my home! Ari and Thomas up and out by a required time.  Everyone in bed at a decent hour, home work to be done so not much idle time and no one asking every day can we go somewhere or do something.  Do something?  Your relaxing from going to school, that’s doing something.  I wish I had over 2 months off, I wouldn’t be looking to DO anything but chill!  And I can’t forget to show love to the summer breakers who LOVE the radio!   Shouts out to all my latchkey kids that call me throughout my shift everyday requesting the same song all day long :)  because the have nothing to DO! Can’t wait for you guys to do your thang in class!   Have a great school year including college kids good luck to you all!  Peaceback2skul

Hola Sports Familia – that’s bilanguaged for my versatile audience!

I present to some of you – the Future; straight from Dudley High School – the first recruit to the class of 2011 to the University of Chapel Hill: PJ Hairston.

Check out some of his footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tsGKGEvD…

In other news:

Usain is Insane

Usain Bolt is (insert any synonym to “great” you prefer). I predict right now that UBeezy will run a sub 9.5 before it’s all said and done. He says he doesn’t run for clock, he runs to win; and i believe him. I want to see him just one time have someone that challenges him. We thought it was Tyson Gay; I mean when else can one run a 9.7 and still come in a distant second?

Man I am so happy for her. Oscar winning actress Jennifer Hudson gave birth the other day to a healthy baby boy weighing 7 pound and 14 ounces. And while she never came out publicly saying she was expecting it should be to no one surprise that she would want to have something or someone of her own to love. Last year Jennifer endure so much pain and hurt after the senseless murder of her Mother, brother and  7 year old nephew in cold blood. At one moment Jennifer lost everyone and everyhing she loved I can only imagine what she was going through during these trying times. Jennifer rose to fame as being one of the most talented to ever hit the stage on American Idol. But she had to publicly grieve in front of the world when she lost her family last year. I heard someone say that she must of been ashamed of her pregnancy because she kept away from the public. But I say no she was not ,Jennifer never hide her pregnancy from the public but she just never broadcast on the higest mountain for the world to hear. Havin a career in the public eye does not mean you have to share every moment of your life with the public. Sometimes people in the spot light need somethings for themselves and for this I do not blame her. Look Jennifer endured alot in the past year and now she is happy. She is engaged to a man that she loves and she has been bless to give birth to her first child. Let her live and do this in peace .Trust  me Jennifer will be back in the spot light again but  give her the moment to be a mother to her child. To her fans and everyone else you should  try to be alot like me and just say “So Happy For Her “

Sorry for the week off, was on a vacation, but now: WE’RE BACK!!

Last night they had the Hall Of Fame Game: Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills. A game surrounded by honoring legends of the game; a game where the Titans were honoring their fallen Leader, Steve McNair, with the number 9 on their helmets. Vince Young clearly didn’t get the memo. He was SUB-par. Going 1-5 for 13 yards, an interception, nearly dropped a shotgun pass, and was even reluctant to scramble – being caught from behind by a rookie Linebacker: Nic Harris. Who?!?! WTF?! What happened to the Texas Great Vince Young? The guy who single handedly destroyed a high powered USC team in the Rose Bowl some years back? The guy who seemed inVINCEable – as deemed by ESPN. It’s sad to see such a talent fall apart right in front of our eyes.

I’ve read my horoscope for the month, clipped coupons, cleaned out my work bag , planned what seeds I’ll plant this month,  and the veggies I need to harvest this week , what I’ll do with them , and still time to write my blog!  Only because my laptop crashed!!!

Ugghhhhh I feel naked,  like I’m walking blind in traffic, like my right arm was cut off!  How did I get here, when did I get so dependent on this contraption.  It’s only a few  years old, and here I sit feeling like I can’t live without it!  Same thing with my cell phone.  The other day I was 5 miles or so away from my house(on the high way for sure) and turned around because I’d left my cell phone.   8 years ago when I got my cell I swore I wouldn’t be a slave to it, and it’s the reason why I waited so long to get one.  Now I’m a fiend!  For all things electronic, my navigational system, my cell, my scanner, my home PC, my laptop, my nano…

Although I’ve lived the majority of my life without these things, they are now items I CANNOT do without.  This is not good.  These are things that dummy me down.  I remember in high school I knew all my friends phone numbers by heart.  Now I know about 5  and that’s including my home and cell number, so I really only know 3!  Before my Garmin and maps online , I’d buy a map, and hit the road, now I panic if I’m gong across town without my navi!   It makes me ill that I am SOOO dependent on these electrodes!!  I need help, and so do ALOT of  others, texting while driving although guilty of this,  IT IS INSANE!! , calling people back to back when  you don’t answer your cell or voicemail( I don’t do this!)  people now a days want to reach you immediately or there feeling some type of way!!! Remember the good ole days of leaving a message and waiting for someone to call you back (if the answering party remembered to deliver your message.)

I say all this to say technology has me spoiled and dummied down!  Although I LOVE the convenience of all these things, I long for the simple times of life!  So wish me luck as I work on beating my addiction!!
