Earlier this week NFL quater back Michael Vick was given a conditional reinstatement back to the NFL  from commissioner Roger Goodell. Vick which every one knows by now served time in federal prison for bank rolling a dog fighting ring has lost hundreds of millions of dollars since this crime became  common knowledge. Yes I feel what Vick did was awful, bad , and even a  hanus act towards these animals. But I feel that it is time for us as society to move on. Vick himself has said that he knows that some people will find it hard to ever forgive him for what he did but he did his time. He lost almost everything he worked so hard for because of his arrogant ways but he has learned from it and deserves a second chance. All ready at least 15 NFL teams have said they are not interested in Michael Vick services ok thats fine your choice but it is hard not to think to rapper Jadakiss verse when he says “What if Payton Manning was dog fighting” . This counrty I was told was all about second chances. DC re elected a mayor who was caught on tape buying crack. Bill Clinton kept the oval office after his affair with an intern and lying about it under oath. So why not give Mr Michael Vick his second chance as well. Look take it from me I have done my share of dirt in my life and if was not for someone giving a second chance I will not be here right now my self . But what I also will say to Michael Vick as well “You got to and must make the best out of your second chance and you and only you can make that happen”. Good luck Mr Vick

Shaquille Oneal, newest star of the LeBum James lead Cleveland Cavaliers had a busy weekend!

He was in DC, and EVERYONE knows Obama loves basketball, so he tweeted:

“Question, I’m in DC, think if I walk up to the White House, they let me in, I know the answer, let me know what you think, oh yeah i’m wearing shorts.”

Then he tweeted:

“The White House wouldnt let me in, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

He also hosted WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” and he tore into a Kobe Bryant poster and told the Washington Wizards fans that LeBum James told him to tell them hello.

THEN, shaq got into the ring, and it was actually believable; for wrestling. Here’s the footage:

Mike Vick to the Bills??

I didn’t hear that, but what I DID hear was the most high profile player on the Buffalo Bills roster (and THE most controversial player in the league CONSISTENTLY the past 5 years) Terrell Owens, has spoken out regarding the 4 game suspension on Mike Vick.

The Michael Vick situation, I think, is unfortunate,” Owens said. “I think the way the commissioner is handling it is unfair to Michael Vick. I think he’s done the time for what he’s done. I don’t think it’s really fair for him to be suspended four more games. It’s almost like kicking a dead horse in the ground. A lot of the guys around the league need to speak up. I think the players’ union needs to step in because the guy’s already suffered so much, and to add a four-game suspension onto a two-year prison sentence, I mean, that’s ridiculous.”

I concur.

After 23 months, removed from his profession, embarrassed the same way HE embarrassed the NFL, his fans, and his family, to bring him out of suspension to suspend him is preposterous.

How much can you take from someone? I think this is yet another situation where Roger Goodell has gone TOO far and I really hope the Player’s Union stands behind T.O. and Vick on this one.

Mike Vick in Buffalo with Marshawn Lynch in the backfield and the Big Play WR Terrell Owens would have them surpass the Cowboys AND Raiders as most controversial team in history! I’m not saying Vick WILL be a Bill, but it’d surely be a nice way to say thank you to Mr. Owens.

Vernon Forrest SH1Tuation:

Many remember 1992 Olympian, Vernon Forrest, from his 2 great battles against “Sugar” Shane Mosely. I personally remember Forrest being dismantled by Mayorga in 2003. He was beaten like “a man beats a boy”. In victory, Mayorga smoked his traditional celebratory cigarette as he interviewed with Jim Lampley in the center of the ring. Gutter.

Well Saturday, July 25th, Vernon was with his 11 year old godson. As his godson entered the convenience store, Vernon took the time to put some air in his tire, where he was approached by a “begger” asking for money. Vernon pulled his wallet from his pocket, and it was snatched.
The assailant was pursued by Forrest, but after he turned a corner and was out of view, Forrest just counted his losses and turned to return to his vehicle. As he returned to the vehicle, the assailant returned from around the corner and gunned Forrest down. 7 – 8 shots in the torso and legs and one in the head.

In the month of July, we’ve lost 3 great boxers of this generation:
• Alexix Arguello, found dead by apparent suicide on July 1st.
• Arturo Gatti, found dead July 11 at a Brazillian resort. His wife Amanda Rodrigues is named the prime suspect.

Yesterday I met an NFL player who was hanging out  the Wild Out and had the most interesting conversation.   Because I don’t know or care anything about the game the  questions I had for him were very different then what  he’s probably use to answering.   First I wondered how many months out of the year he actually is required to work….answer 4.  4 months out of the year!  So then I wondered about how he gets paid with that kinda scedule, well  it’s weekly and his weekly is more then my yearly salary!   WOW right, so now I’m wondering when you make that much, how do you pay bills, I mean by the year or the month?  He has a financial advisor that handles all that!  I couldn’t get with that, there’s no way I’d trust ANYONE with my loot!   Still wondering I thought no way this guy cooks and sure enough he has “a guy” to come in every few days and prepare meals that he only needs to heat up and the meals are prepared to accommodate the amount of calories he needs to maintain his NFL structure!    Imagine that!! And he doesn’t even know the guys name!!  I also asked about  family and friends who can bleed you dry if you let them and he’s experienced that as well, stating he’s shelled out about  5 times my salary to family!!! I’ve never in life had such an in depth conversation with someone in his financial situation.  And although I can’t imagine such a lifestyle, I found it inspirational to hear him speak of it!  So I look forward to one day marveling over my own lifestyle and how far Ive come when I make this type of change .  Thanks for sharing Mr Titans (that’s football right:) and thanks for the inspiration one day I’ll not only imagine it I’ll live it.
