What’s Good World !!!!!

Welcome to the NEW Santillian Blog on www.102Jamz.com !!!

I want to start this off by letting everyone know about “The Fifth Foot Foundation!”

The Fifth Foot Foundation is my non-profit organization aimed at positively influencing the lives of the youth throughout the Triad.  We are trying to do OUR part to help these kids to have more positive experiences during their childhoods that can help to shape them, as they grow into adulthood.  Through academic scholarships and youth athletics and activities, we hope to help as many kids as we can.

Our first fundraiser is coming up at the end of this month.  The Fifth Foot Foundation, “Summer Bowling Classic” will take place at Gate City Lanes on July 25th.  Registration begins at 12:30pm and Bowling begins at 1pm.

Check out all the info on our site:  www.fifthfootfoundation.org

If you need information or a ticket for yourself or you want to reserve a lane for a group, send me an email to santillian@fifthfootfoundation.org !!!

Today I sat and spoke with some of the biggest stars of entertainment,Rick Ross,Ryan Leslie,Hurricane Chris,Ace Hood,Day 26,Cousin Jeff, and Sean Paul just to name a few. All from differnt parts of the globe and backgrounds with one thing in common, “WE LOST A GIANT IN MICHAEL JACKSON WE LOST THE BEST”.In the world of hip-hop it is common for us to see these stars as macho, tuff and strong but today here in Los Angeles I saw something very differnt. They were very open, sensative, and yes even hurt over the death of “The King Of Pop”. Sean Kingston shared with me that his mother was overwhelmed with grief. Ace Hood replays to me how he practice as a child the moon walk like Michael Jackson. Rick Ross how Michael Jackson raise the bar for years on making music videos a movie. His influence on fashion and dance. I do not think Michael knew how much he hip-hop as he was pop. Nor how much hip-hop was him but one thing for sure it is a marriage that will not die with Michael. Before we left the Shrine I ask them all one by one what is next for us and music they all said something like this “The Uknown” BET will be the first to honor Michael since his death this week. I pray and hope that they also get it right,I will be there in the audience to see for myself what should be something specail. From LA Tap Money wishing Michael Jackson everlasting peace..Gone

Wow what started as a busy travel day to Los Angeles ended up being a day that the King Of Pop voice was silenced. I layed on my bed at the Omni Hotel in down town LA wacthin a tv news break from KTLA. “Michael Jackson rush to UCLA hospital due to cardiac arrest was found not breathing”. OMG not breathing not good then I hear what I did not want to hear “THE KING OF POP HAS DIED”. Gone at the age of 50. I was here in the very same city he died in just a few miles from my hotel I saw what was the helicopter transporting his body to the mourge. Everyone loved thriller but Off The Wall was my joint. Reaction here in Los Angeles and across the world is shock, sadness and just plain hurt. Michael Jackson was alot of things Icon, entertainer, singer, etc. But he was also someones brother, uncle, father, and son..I heard someone say the world lost a great voice and everyone who loves music period lost their soul and every performer can trace their dna of entertainment to Michael. I hear older people say all the time “Where I was when Elvis died”. For me i was only blocks away from him on Olive st in downtown LA talking to Shosmoove. This sad day June 25 2009 was my genrations Elvis. Good bye Michael R.I.P.

Caught a picture of LeBron on vacation. (yeah, i’m a little late with this one, been busy) But this clown has the nerve to wear a t-shirt on his vacvation that reads “Check My Stats”. For what? What does stats matter when there is no conclusion of a championship.

I thought LeBron was the ultimate TEAM player. Mr. Magic Johnson reincarnated. “Check MY Stats” doesn’t seem too team oriented to me. Sounds like the kid that didn’t win, but still wants his accomplishments acknowledged.

That’s not how it works Kid James.

The goal at the begginnning of the season is NOT “who can get the best stats?” The question is not “can I get MVP?” The question is: “Can we win the Championship?” And until you get OFF your high horse and your dang stats, and focus on winning a ‘Ship, you’ll NEVER get one.

Shaq or Not.

Reggie Miller hath claimed there is NOTHING wrong with his stomach tattoo. A simple question for my viewers:

I there anything wrong with a MAN having a tattoo around his navel?

Hilarious none the less. Reggie should be ashamed of himself. He might as well have a “Tramp Stamp” on his back!

Prince James,

Wow. That’s how you do? No handshake, no head nod, no “good luck in the Finals Olympic teammate”, no “represent the East well”? Nothing?! You just put on your headphones and leave the building? WTF?

You don’t think MJ had to face the media when he lost to Detroit in 6 in 89; what about in 7 the next year? Did Kobe speak to the media after losing to the Celtics in 6? You don’t think he was upset? You think he WANTED to be asked how he lost, why he lost, and blah, blah, blah? Had Kobe pulled that stunt he’d STILL be getting crucified.

And for you to use an excuse:

“It’s hard for me to congratulate someone after you just lose to them. I’m a winner. It’s not being a poor sport or anything like that. If somebody beats you up, you’re not going to congratulate them. That doesn’t make sense to me.”

That’s the most ridiculous foolishness I’ve ever heard.

CLEARLY you’re not a winner, but an Eastern Conference Finals loser; in 6. It most definitely IS being a poor sport. If you get beat up, in contest, AS a competitor you show respect when you’ve been beat up all over the basketball court. When boxers get knocked unconscious, they get the smelling salt, wake the hell up, and shake the man’s hand that put them to sleep. You should’ve shaken the hand that put you to sleep, or hugged his massive shoulders.

The reality of the situation is, you were embarrassed Baby Bron. Awww. We’ve all been there. I remember coming back from a school trip in 3rd grade; I pooped my pants and had to blame it on other people the whole way back to school. Pretty embarrassing; guess you kind of pooped your pants too huh? Difference is the whole world saw your stains.

The Magic were just better LeBron. Beat ya’ll 5 straight times in Orlando, and beat snot out of you and your “team” in 6 in the Eastern Conference Finals; to walk off the court without speaking is Bad Form Baby Bron.

We watched you throw chalk in the air before EVERY game, we watched you take faux pictures with your teammates when blowing out Detroit, Atlanta, and all other games en route to 66 wins. We watched the MVP Puppets, we watched you accept your MVP award, we watched you shoot half court shots in practice and games alike. We’ve had to stomach ALL the LeBron they’ve shoved down our throats – pause – now we get to throw it up.

Now go home and watch DISNEYWORLD vs. DISNEYLAND like the rest of the world.

Your brother in Christ,

Daht
